Our hold/tanks inspections guarantee that the cargo will not be affected by the condition of them or contaminated by residues already present in the holds/tanks. Control Union also complete hatch inspections to provide an added level of reassurance to our customers.
The ship’s log is checked, to verify whether there were harmful materials among previous cargoes and we pay special attention to other carried products that may cause problems.
During the inspection of holds we check the declaration of the last 4 cargoes and the cleaning methods used. All according to the Gafta code of practice.
For tanks inspection last 3 cargoes declaration is checked to verify that complies with the contract condition.
