    About the standard

Launched in April 2020, PPRS includes rigorous social and environmental safeguards and an end-to-end verification system, enabling the certification of plastic cleanup projects with full traceability. Its scope covers credits for collection, landfill diversion, recycling, and plastic avoidance, aligning with regulatory circular economy models.

    Mission

Our plastic debt is growing year after year, and we need to put a stop to it. PPRS seeks to address this challenge by offering a broad range of services, including credits for collection, landfill diversion, recycling, and plastic avoidance, targeting project partners that recover, process, or recycle plastic waste.
