It applies to both agricultural and manufactured products, and its seal allows access to markets that value fair trade and community development.

    About the standard

This certification was developed by Fair Trade USA, an independent U.S.-based organization that leads the fair trade movement in North America. Unlike other seals, FTUSA combines social and environmental requirements with concrete trading tools, such as the payment of community development premiums. The system certifies both producers and buyers who want to commit to ethical chains. The audit must be carried out during the peak production season to ensure a representative assessment of actual working conditions.

    Features

The fair trade seal is recognized by international buyers who value ethical and responsible supply chains.

Certified products receive an additional premium above the conventional price, which improves direct profitability.

Complying with fair working conditions improves the internal climate, reduces turnover and reinforces staff commitment.

The standard requires good practices in gender equity, environmental care and regulatory compliance, which strengthens your reputation.
