CRS – Certified Responsible Soya

The CRS (Certified Responsible Soya) standard was developed by Cefetra Group in collaboration with Control Union in 2008 as a practical and accessible tool to promote truly sustainable soybean production. It guarantees zero deforestation or conversion of natural areas since 2009, while meeting FEFAC’s soy sourcing guidelines.

    About the standard

CRS is designed to encourage large, medium, and small producers to adopt responsible farming practices without requiring overly complex processes. It includes key principles such as traceability, legal compliance, labor rights, responsible land management, and efficient agricultural techniques. Producers are audited annually and receive detailed reports that support continuous improvement and accountability to clients or investors.
